STUDENT FORMS - Students - Don’t forget that all lunch forms and fee forms must be completed and turned in to the Main Office as soon as possible. No fee waivers will be processed until the lunch form has been completed and approved.
“Red Out” t-shirts to promote Heart Health will be on sale Thursday August 30th – Friday September 7th in the food court and the Arena Kiosk during both 4th and 5th period lunches for a minimum $12 donation. All proceeds go to the American Heart Association. Wear your t-shirts on Friday September 7th to show your support to all Heart disease survivors. Shirts will also be on sale at the game Friday night. (Th)
Do you love to write? Or do you like to read stories and poems other people have written? Apply to be an editor of Branching Out, the ORHS literary magazine. Write a letter introducing yourself and explaining why you believe you would be a good editor. Include your other time commitments and interests. Bring your letter to Ms. Sasser in CS336 by Wednesday, September 5, at 1:45 (W) – J. Sasser
The first Math Club meeting for the year will be held this Friday, August 31st, immediately after school in Mrs. Mullins’ room, CS231. This first meeting will include the election of officers. All Boys and Girls basketball players (Freshmen, JV, & Varsity) will have team & individual pictures made on Wednesday, September 5th immediately after school. This includes basketball players that are currently involved in a fall sport. Make-up pictures will NOT be available at a later date. (Tu, Th) – A. Green
Attention Juniors – today in your History class you will be voting to elect the Junior Class Committee. This committee of Ten will work with your Junior Class Officers throughout the year doing fund raising, working concessions, and making decision for the class of 2014. (Tu) D. Sobek

Haiti is one of the least developed and least stable countries in the Western Hemisphere. The earthquake in January 2010 caused significant damage to key infrastructure and access to basic services throughout the country remains limited. Would you like to make a difference in Haiti? If so, come to the first meeting of the Haiti Club on Tuesday, August 28th immediately after school in LC107 (Mrs. Roop’s room). We will choose a regular meeting day and discuss plans for the year. The Pokemon League of ORHS will have its first meeting on Thursday, August 30th from 3:00 – 4:00 in LC107 (Mrs. Roop’s room). Come join us for refreshments and fun as we make our plans for the year. Bring your hand-held games, cards, or any other Pokemon items of interest. (Tu) – C. Roop
The Environmental Club will meet this week to discuss activities and officer candidates for the school year.
