There are only 3 more tutoring sessions this year! This week, National Honor Society tutors are Dave Daugherty and Katie Landmesser on Tuesday with no tutoring on Thursday. Next week, Tuesday's tutor is Eric Dai and Thursday's tutors are Saajid Haque and Alex Barclay. All sessions take place in the Guidance Office from 3:00-3:45. (Th) – L. Bailey
JV and Varsity Boys Basketball Try Outs are scheduled for this Wednesday, May 16 from 1:50-3:50pm. Can you please add that anyone planning to try out must have proof of a physical dated after April 1, 2012. (Th) – A. Green

The Driving Center Summer Driver Ed. Classes are filling fast. A few slots are available for the June 4th and July 9th sessions. Sign-up while there are slots available. (Tu, Th) – J. Woofter
The Oak Ridge Police Department is proud to announce the 1st annual Junior Police Academy. The academy will be held July 30-August 3, 2012. All high school students are eligible to attend. However, there are only 25 cadet positions available. An information packet along with the application form has been placed in student services. UPCOMING EVENTS
Those interested in playing for the Lady Wildcats Soccer team must attend tryouts on Friday, June 1 at 5:00 at the ORHS Soccer Stadium. Please dress in appropriate gear. You must also have a physical on file with Oak Ridge Schools. (Tu, Th)
Softball Tryouts will be held Tuesday 5/22 and Wednesday 5/23 at Baseball Complex Field C from 5:00-7:30. Bring a current physical and gloves to tryouts. (Tu, Th)
2012 ORHS Cross Country Team: We will have our meeting for the coming season immediately after school in the Civics Room on Wednesday, May 16. Any ORHS student who likes to run, is interested in a challenge, or who just wants to be a part of a good team is welcome to attend and join the team.
