Tomorrow is the LAST DAY to purchase a yearbook. Come to the arena kiosk at any time during lunch tomorrow with a check or cash for $55.00 to reserve your copy! You may also log on to www.yearbookforever.com until Thursday to purchase your copy. (W) – C. Noe
Atomic Prom will take place on Sat April 28th tickets will be sold April 24th-27th. Couples will be $75 and singles will be $38. If your date does not attend ORHS you will need to pick up a Guest Application from Ms. Eidam in LC 313. (Th) – S. Eidam
Are you interested or think you might be interested in running for Sophomore, Junior, Senior Class officer or for Student Council officer or are interested in serving on a Student Council committee? Then mark your calendar for Thursday morning April 26th at 7:15 am for the Leadership Breakfast held in the Combined Studies Room, LC 327. This is an opportunity to learn about leadership positions and pick up your petition to run for office while enjoying a delicious chic-fli-a breakfast. (Tu, Th)

Students interested in participating in this year’s Day of Silence on this Friday, April 20th, must sign up with either Ms. Adler, Mr.Koehler, Ms. Sobek, or Ms.Goepfert by Wednesday, April 18th. Upon signing up, you will be given a Day of Silence Card and asked to discuss your participation with each of your teachers by this Thursday. Participating students will be meeting at 7:30am Friday morning in the Arena. (W) – B. Adler

GUIDANCE INFO
Blacks in Government (BIG) is offering two types of scholarship and students are allowed to apply for only one type. The two types are: 1) Academic Excellence Scholarship – based primarily on their scholastic achievements in high school. Financial status is not a factor for this award, 2) Financial Need Scholarship – based up financial status and greatest need. Students must be a US citizen and a resident of Knoxville, Anderson, or Roane County to apply. BIG’s goal is to promote equity in all aspects of American life, excellence in public service, and opportunity for all Americans. The deadline to postmark the application is April 30, 2012.
