Dear Students/Parents/Community Advocates:
On behalf of Oak Ridge High School, I would like to welcome you to the 2012-13 school year. We are committed to providing a quality education to students which are grounded in best practices and sound research and developed through a rigorous curriculum. We will seek to assist students in developing the skills, knowledge, and attitudes that will reinforce success in both our local and larger global communities. We recognize that the world is diverse and consistently changing, and our approach to education must be constantly reviewed and adapted to ensure we are providing our students the skills they will require to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
We are fortunate to have the opportunity to serve the 1,500 students and 150+ staff members which make up Oak Ridge High School. We look forward to working in conjunction with students, parents, and community advocates to ensure that each student has the opportunity to maximize their "high school experience", both academically and extra-curricular.
